Unity Coffee - Purchase Terms

These Purchase Terms apply to all purchases made at Unity Coffee machines operated by Unity Coffee Technologies Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By completing a purchase at one of our machines, you agree to these Purchase Terms.

 

1. CONTRACT FORMATION

A contract is formed when your payment is successfully authorised at the machine.
If payment is not authorised, no contract is formed and you will not be charged.

 

2. PRODUCTS AND AVAILABILITY

All products are subject to availability.
The machine may prevent selection or payment where a product is unavailable due to stock levels, maintenance, or technical issues.

 

3. PRICES AND PAYMENT

All prices are displayed at the machine at the time of purchase and apply to that transaction.
Payments are processed by third-party providers. We do not store full card details.

 

4. VOUCHERS

Where available, vouchers issued via our App or website may be used at participating machines.
Vouchers must be valid and correctly applied at the time of purchase. Vouchers have no cash value and are non-transferable unless stated otherwise.
We may withdraw or amend vouchers where reasonably necessary (for example, due to fraud, misuse, or legal requirements). This does not affect vouchers already validly redeemed.

 

5. MACHINE PERFORMANCE

We aim to ensure all orders are fulfilled correctly.
If payment is taken and your drink is not dispensed due to a machine fault, or the wrong product is dispensed due to machine error, you may be entitled to a refund or replacement.

 

6. REFUNDS

If there is a problem with your order (for example, the product is not dispensed or is incorrect), please contact us so we can resolve the issue.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within a reasonable time, usually within 5–10 working days.
Where a machine is located on third-party premises (“site host”), the site host may also offer refunds or credits at their discretion. This is separate from your rights under these Terms and applicable law.
This does not affect your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.

 

7. USER RESPONSIBILITY

You agree to use the machine in accordance with all instructions provided.
We may refuse service or take appropriate action where misuse, tampering, or damage is suspected.

 

8. LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.

We are not liable for:

  • indirect or consequential loss
  • loss or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control
  • temporary machine downtime or unavailability

 

9. PRIVACY AND DATA

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

10. OTHER TERMS

These Terms apply only to purchases made at the machine.
Use of our App, website, vouchers, or account services is subject to separate terms – see Terms of Service
If there is any inconsistency, these Purchase Terms apply to the transaction at the machine.
